The Soldotna City Council will conduct a public hearing on December 13, 2017 on the following ordinances:
Ordinance 2017-032 – Increasing Estimated Revenues and Appropriations by $28,000 in the Homeland Security Grant Fund for a Grant Received from the State of Alaska, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHS&EM) for the Purchase of Portable Radios (Interim City Manager)
Ordinance 2017-033 – Increasing Estimated Revenues and Appropriations by $1,500 in the Parks and Recreation Capital Projects Fund for Donations Received for the Purchase of Benches for the Aspen Dog Park (Interim City Manager)
Ordinance 2017-034 – Amending Soldotna Municipal Code 8.30.030 – Moratorium and Limit on Marijuana Business to Extend the Moratorium on Commercial Marijuana an Additional Forty-Five Days for the Purpose Establishing Regulations Related to Marijuana Business within the City of Soldotna (Interim City Manager)

The December 6, 2017 Planning & Zoning meeting will hold a public hearing for for a Conditional Use Permit for the Phase VI expansion and renovation project of the Central Peninsula Hospital. The property is zoned Institutional, is located at 250 Hospital Place, and is legally described as T 05N R 10W SEC 29 Seward Meridian KN 2017033 DOC ISAAK SUB LOT 1B.
