—Who we are—
The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a group of teens ages 13-19 in the Soldotna/Kenai area who are interested in contributing their ideas to the library’s programs and services to better serve their peers in the community.
— Our Mission—
The mission of the TAG is to plan, conduct, and promote entertaining and interesting library programs for teens in their community.
—What’s in it for you?—
- Teens involved in the TAG will be able to voice their opinions and ideas. You’ll help create programs that interests you and your friends.
- You will have the opportunity to serve your community and peers. (P.S. This looks awesome on college and job applications.)
- It’s fun to hang out with friends and demonstrate your imagination and creativity.
- You get to see your ideas come to life and have an impact on the community!
—How often do we meet?—
We will meet once a month. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for specific dates or ask at the library in person.
TAG also gives you the opportunity to host programs and conduct special projects which may allow for additional volunteer hours.
