Look Up to the Stars

Join us for an educational and entertaining exploration of the universe, the stars and other celestial wonders. View the amazing rings of Saturn, craters of the moon and other jewels of the night sky through a powerful telescope, weather permitting. The program is presented by guest astronomer Kevin Manning as part of a nationwide tour. This event is made possible with Library Services and Technology Act funding provided by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Alaska State Library. The Institute of Museum and Library Services is the primary source of federal support for the nation’s 123,000 libraries and 17,500 museums. IMLS helps communities and individuals thrive through broad public access to knowledge, cultural heritage, and lifelong learning.
