Employees are not eligible to use personal leave until after they have completed their six (6) month probation period.
Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance
The City offers extensive medical, dental and vision benefits to all regular full time employees.
Offered through Aflac.
Regular full-time employees receive a city paid $7,000 policy. Police department employees receive a city paid policy up to $67,000. Supplemental coverage for employees and dependent life coverage for spouse and children under 18 is available.
Employee Assistance Program
Regular full-time employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Assistance Program that provides confidential counseling and legal services for employees and their immediate family.
Regular full-time employees may choose to defer pre-tax earnings into a 457 deferred compensation program.
