SOLDOTNA POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE

February 9, 2018

**ANY CHARGES REPORTED IN THESE PRESS RELEASES ARE MERELY ACCUSATIONS

AND THE DEFENDANTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNLESS AND UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY**

 

On 2/2/18 at 2:26 a.m., Soldotna police responded to Arbor Street for a reported single vehicle collision. Investigation showed Stacy Whiteley, 43, of Soldotna, had assaulted an individual at a nearby residence. Whiteley then left the residence and drove her vehicle recklessly in the area until striking a fire hydrant, causing minor damage to her vehicle and no damage to the hydrant. Whiteley was arrested for assault in the fourth degree, reckless driving, and violating her court ordered conditions of release and taken to Wildwood without bail.

 

On 2/3/2018 at 7:38 p.m., Soldotna police responded to Fred Meyer and contacted Randall Self, 26, of Soldotna. Self was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was also charged with theft in the fourth degree and two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree. Self was taken to Wildwood without bail.

 

On 2-3-18 at 10:32 p.m., Soldotna police responded to a residence on Redoubt Avenue for a disturbance. David Davidson, 57, of Soldotna, was arrested for assault in the fourth degree and criminal mischief in the fifth degree and taken to Wildwood without bail.

 

On 2/4/18 at 6:10 a.m., Soldotna police responded to the Aspen Hotel for a male in the lobby causing a disturbance. Terre S. Jones, 57, of Kenai, was located a short distance from the hotel. Jones was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken to Wildwood, where he was shortly released from custody.
