SOLDOTNA POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE

On 12/13/2017 at 12:53 a.m., Soldotna police contacted William Koontz, 58, of Soldotna, and arrested him on an outstanding warrant. Koontz was taken to Wildwood without bail.
On 12/13/17 at 9:01 p.m., Soldotna police received a report of a disturbance at a residence on Sierra Heights Street. The involved individuals were reported to have left the residence in separate vehicles and officers located and stopped both vehicles. One of the drivers, Robbie Diehl, 39, of Soldotna, was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to Wildwood, where he was released on his own recognizance.
On 12-18-17 at 8:39 p.m., Soldotna police stopped a 4-wheeler being driven on Arbor Street near Marydale Avenue. Travis Herrick, 33, of Soldotna, was arrested on two outstanding warrants and taken to Wildwood on $500 bail.
On 12-19-17 about 8:26 p.m., Soldotna police responded to the Kenai Spur Highway for a reddi report involving a vehicle inbound to Soldotna. The vehicle was located on Marydale Avenue and stopped at the Lorraine Court intersection. Georgia D. Tackett, 38, of Kasilof, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and taken to Wildwood.
