SOLDOTNA POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE

October 31, 2017

**ANY CHARGES REPORTED IN THESE PRESS RELEASES ARE MERELY ACCUSATIONS

AND THE DEFENDANTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNLESS AND UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY**

 

On 10-22-17 at 8:20 p.m., Soldotna police stopped a vehicle on Marydale Avenue near the Kenai Spur Highway. David Prather, 18, of Sterling, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was issued a criminal citation for misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fifth degree and released.

 

On 10/23/17 at 6:09 p.m., Soldotna police responded to Fred Meyer for a shoplifter. Arnold Sipes, 26, of Kenai, was issued a criminal citation for theft in the third degree and released.

 

On 10/25/17 at 8:58 p.m., Soldotna police stopped a vehicle on K-Beach Road at East Poppy Lane. Juhriene Poleahla, 20, of Soldotna, was issued a criminal citation for driving without a valid driver’s license and released.

 

On 10/28/2017 at 3:54 p.m., Soldotna police responded to the Sportsman’s Warehouse for a shoplifter. Misty Densmore, 37, of Kodiak, was arrested for theft in the third degree and misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree and taken to Wildwood.
