The Parks + Recreation Advisory Board oversees the development of and tasks related to all Soldotna parks, campgrounds, and the Sports Center. The duties of the Parks + Recreation Advisory Board are defined in Soldotna Municipal Code Chapter 2.50.030.
The Advisory Board consists of five members who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Members serve staggered three-year terms. The Advisory Board meets the first Thursday of February, May, August and November.
The public is welcome to attend any meeting of the Advisory Board and participate at opportunities for public comments on the agenda. Upcoming agendas are published in the Peninsula Clarion, on the notice board at the front entrance of City Hall, and on the City's web site. Agendas can also be accessed by clicking on individual meetings on the calendar below.
