Sales Taxes: The City of Soldotna leverages a 3% sales tax in addition to the Borough's 3% sales tax. The tax is calculated on the first $500.00 of the sale price of each individual sale: i.e., if the final charge is $800.00, the tax is leveraged only on the first $500.00. For more information on sales taxes, you can contact the City's Finance Department and/or the Borough's Sales Tax Division.
